Between the years of 1982 and 1989, in the quiet suburb of Richmond in Vancouver, British Columbia, Cindy James suffered from nearly a hundred incidents of various forms of harassment. From threatening phone calls and frightening collages of letters and pictures, to slashed pillows, burned homes, and bodily harm, Cindy James claimed that someone was trying to scare her to death, literally. But when her body was discovered after she’d been drugged, strangled, and with her hands and feet tied behind her back, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police believed that her death was either an accident or suicide. This is the story of Cindy James, and the invisible stalker.
