On February 17, 2003, Peter Bryan is told by his doctor and social worker that he can come and go as he pleases from the adult psychiatric ward of Newham General Hospital in London, England. An hour later on the streets of London, Peter purchases a knife, hammer and screwdriver, then pays a visit to his friend Brian Cherry, where he promptly kills him, and eats him. But there’s more to this story. Much more. Peter Bryan had killed before and would kill again, looking to eat his victims. But how could such a person be loose on the streets? Because his doctor and social worker deemed him fit for society—more than once. This is Peter Bryan. An Appetite for Murder.
