On March 13, 1979, Wanda Weston murdered 73-year-old Inez Kelley at the Palmland Motel in Fort Myers, Florida. It was a senseless and brutal murder that happened all because Inez wouldn’t acknowledge the fact she’d borrowed a ball point pen from a 23-year-old housekeeper at the hotel-Juanita Maxwell. Hours later, the elderly Inez Kelly was found strangled to death, her skull crushed by a table lamp, a pillowcase over her head. When the body is discovered, bloody footprints led to the adjoining motel room. Inside, a sleeping and dazed, Juanita Maxwell, who had no recollection of the last few hours. These are the Crimes of Juanita Maxwell, Wanda Weston… and Others.
